Common Problems We Help With

Back pain can make sitting, walking, exercising, lifting, or even sleeping uncomfortable. Some people also notice pain, tingling, or numbness traveling into the leg. At Performance Edge, we look at how you move, your strength, your symptoms, and the activities you want to get back to, then build a plan to help you move with more confidence.

Hip pain or stiffness can show up during walking, stairs, exercise, golf, getting out of a chair, or sleeping on your side. We look at your movement, strength, and activity demands to help determine what may be contributing and what you can work on to move more comfortably and confidently.

Knee pain can make stairs, squatting, walking, running, or getting up from a chair harder than it should be. We help identify which movements and strength areas may need attention, then gradually build your ability to handle the activities you want to return to.

Shoulder pain can interfere with reaching, lifting, sleeping, working out, golfing, or everyday tasks. We look at how your shoulder and surrounding areas are moving and working together, then help you rebuild strength and confidence with the movements you need.

Neck pain and stiffness can make driving, working, sleeping, exercising, or turning your head uncomfortable. We assess how you move, what tends to aggravate your symptoms, and what strength or mobility may need work so you have a clear plan moving forward.

Surgery is only the beginning of getting back to normal life. We help you rebuild movement, strength, balance, and confidence after orthopedic procedures so you can gradually return to everyday activities, exercise, recreation, or sport.

Arthritis does not automatically mean you have to stop being active. The right amount of movement and strength work can help many people feel more capable and confident using their joints. We help you find an approach that matches your current abilities and goals.

Feeling less steady can make walking, stairs, uneven ground, travel, or exercise feel intimidating. We work on strength, balance, coordination, and confidence so you can feel more secure moving through everyday life.

You do not have to be a competitive athlete to want to get back to your sport. Whether it’s running, pickleball, tennis, cycling, hiking, or the gym, we help rebuild the strength and movement needed for the demands of the activity you enjoy.

Golf requires mobility, balance, strength, and control throughout the body. If pain or physical limitations are affecting your ability to play, we can help you determine whether physical therapy or our Golf Performance program is the better next step.
