You're Not Just Trying to Hurt Less...

You want to get back to something.

Golf. The gym. Running. Walking comfortably. Travel. Recreational sports. Working around the house. Playing with your family.

That’s why your plan should be built around what you need your body to do—not simply where you hurt.

Who Physical Therapy is For

Physical therapy may be appropriate if pain, injury, recovery after surgery, weakness, or a physical limitation is making it harder to move, exercise, or return to the activities that matter to you.

Performance Edge commonly works with active adults recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, along with conditions affecting the back, hips, knees, shoulders, neck, and other areas of the body.

The Performance Edge PT Approach

1

Assess

Identify what may be limiting you, establish meaningful baseline measures, and create a clear starting point.

2

Rebuild

We'll progressively address the strength, mobility, control, tolerance, or capacity limitations identified during your evaluation.

3

Perform

Progress your body for the real demands of the activities you want to return to so your improvement carries over beyond the clinic.

We Measure Progress

We don’t believe in continuing the same treatment indefinitely and simply hoping something changes.

At defined checkpoints, we’ll reassess the measures that matter to your goals. If you’re progressing, we’ll continue building. If you’re not progressing as expected, we’ll reassess the plan and determine what needs to change.

What Your Care May Include:

Your treatment plan will be based on your goals and what we find during your evaluation. Depending on your needs, care may include a combination of the following:

Strength & Movement Training

Build the strength, control, and movement capacity needed to return to everyday activities, exercise, and sport with greater confidence.

Manual therapy & Mobility

Hands-on treatment and targeted mobility work may be used to improve movement, reduce restrictions, and help you move more comfortably.
